Mailing Information
The "Cleanliness" of your list will have a significant impact on how much you pay in postage. If the addresses are not typed into your mailing list accurately, they will not be able to be matched up against the USPS address database and thus will not qualify for the lowest barcode rate. For letters this can mean up to 4 to 5 cents per piece additional charge and
for flats up to 10 cents per piece. Common errors may include misspellings and typos. If you
take addresses over the phone, be sure to listen carefully to customers and ask them to spell any word you are not sure of. Errors such as "Drve", "Roaf", "Cicrle" and "PO Bpx" render an address unqualified.
